This course explains the fundamentals of analyzing, designing and building an E-Commerce website. The course is taught from the viewpoint of a web developer working with a small business client and covers such topics as proposals, contracts, site design, marketing, financial and billing, order processing, shipping and much more.

This course covers how to design and implement a computer program as well as writing a program that will make different types of decisions. Furthermore it will teach you on how to solve problems using computer programs that remember things, make decisions, and perform repetitive tasks.
The course uses a layered approach that first presents the basic Web technology that supports all e-business, then presents the e-commerce business issues, and then revisits the technology to discuss the challenges in bringing businesses on to the Web.
